I create art that often has a textured feel, using materials that are familiar to me from woodworking or reaching for the smudging comfort of oil pastels. My pieces are shaped by personal experiences and emotions, usually coming to life through geometric patterns, natural landscapes, and elements inspired by the outdoors.
With a background in finish carpentry, I have a hands-on understanding of materials and form that naturally flows into my art. I love working with wood, drywall mud, paint, paper and pastels. I enjoy layering color to create prints that feel almost touchable. Some of my work blends textured art with a sense of home decor.
