SPÉCIFICATIONS DU BOIS
epaisseur 3/16 pouce (6mm) - BouleauLe bouleau est un contreplaqué multicouche qui est parfois aussi appelé bouleau de la Baltique. Il comprend plus de feuilles (ou de couches) et il est également plus mince que le contreplaqué traditionnel. Le contreplaqué multicouche est entièrement en bois dur. Ces caractéristiques de fabrication de qualité lui confèrent une forte rigidité et une excellente stabilité pour être accroché aux murs.
Le bouleau est un matériau le plus approprié pour produire des meubles, des étagères, des gabarits et toutes sortes d’articles qui nécessitent une utilisation intensive.
Le contreplaqué de bouleau est donc de qualité supérieure et est beaucoup plus rigide que le contreplaqué traditionnel qui est généralement composé de feuilles de résineux (comme l’épinette, le peuplier, le pin ou le sapin).

Pictorem is using UV Printing technique on Birch Wood.Print Technology & Process
Printed by UV Cured ink and 6 print heads with 3 staggered configuration at 1200dpi configuration. 2 units of unique highly-accurate linear scales controlled by IMS have been equipped, for fine step accuracy and dot placement. This results in far less banding artifacts and even the possibility to print legible 2 pt characters. * Characters may be illegible depending on the media. (IMS = Intelligent Microstepping System) Pictorem implements printing with generating passes, using a gradational mask pattern, the UV curing is performed more gradually and it diminishes the appearance of bandings.Printing Resolution
Pictorem prints at 1200 x 1200 optimized dpi Variable drops function provides 3 different drop sizes at once. The minimum size is amazingly 4 pico-litter drop and produces smooth and natural gradationInk
UV Ink The color components of the ink are directly cured and adhered to the media or substrate by UV radiation, and the ink emits very low levels of VOC (volatile organic carbon).The LED (light-emitting diode) light does not radiate short wavelengths that generate ozone. Use of Mimaki UV-curable ink demonstrates consciousness about the environment and the health of users.
Media Used
Pictorem is using a birch wood, a multi-layer plywood which is sometimes also called Baltic Birch. It includes more sheets (or layers) and it is also thinner than traditional plywood. The multi-layer plywood is made entirely of hardwood. These quality manufacturing characteristics give it strong rigidity and excellent stability for being hung on walls. Birch is a material most appropriate to producing furniture, shelves, jigs, and all kinds of items that require intensive use. Birch plywood is therefore of superior quality and is much more rigid than traditional plywood which is usually composed of softwood leaves (such as spruce, poplar, pine or fir).Min & Max Dimension

When my existing supplier of flat rolled canvas prints went out of business a few months ago, I frantically went on the hunt for another supplier who could deliver the same quality at a similar price. I do my own canvas wrapping (they are small 5x7 frames), so I just needed rolled canvas. I did a test order with Pictorem and was thrilled with the results, and the price. Since then, I've reordered 2 more times and the colors are dead on to my calibrated screen, and the bright white canvas produced photo-quality detail. Customer service is quick and personable. I've always worked with the same guy - Fabien - and he's been great. All around extremely happy and Pictorem comes with the highest of recommendations.
